In-Depth Review
I’ve been on the lookout for a solid grill for weekend barbecues, and after considering a few options, I finally settled on the Sophia & William 4-Burner Propane Gas BBQ Grill. As a regular guy in my mid-30s who enjoys cooking outdoors, I thought I’d share my experiences with it.
Right out of the box, this grill looks impressive. The shiny stainless steel finish gives it a modern vibe, and I was pretty pleased with the overall aesthetic. Setting it up was straightforward, but it took me about an hour—everything I needed was in the box, and the instructions were clear enough. Just a heads up, it’s a bit heavier than I expected, so you might need an extra hand when moving it or setting it up.
The build quality feels solid. The porcelain-enameled cast iron grates are a nice touch and seem very durable. I’ve dealt with cheap grills that rusted after a season, but I get the feeling this one can handle a lot more. The locking casters are handy when you want to keep it in place, and the removable grease tray makes cleanup much easier.
Now, for performance. I’ve used it several times, cooking everything from burgers to steaks, and it’s been great. The 42,000 BTUs provide plenty of heat, and I’ve been able to grill food evenly. I appreciate the extra side burner; it’s perfect for simmering sauces while grilling. The heat retention is excellent—once it’s hot, it stays hot, which is a must when cooking for a crowd. The only downside is that sometimes it takes a bit while to get all burners evenly heated, but it’s manageable.
This grill is ideal for families or anyone who enjoys outdoor cooking, especially those who like to entertain. If you frequently host parties, the cooking surface area is generous enough to handle multiple burgers at once. But if you’re a casual cook or have limited outdoor space, it might be more grill than you need.
As for the pros and cons, well, it’s pretty much a mixed bag. On the positive side, I really like the build quality and the functionality of the grill. The heat output is fantastic for the price. However, it can be a bit bulky, and it’s definitely a task to clean it properly after use. Plus, while I appreciate that it’s easy to assemble, if you’re not familiar with grills, the first-time setup might feel a bit daunting.
In conclusion, if you’re in the market for a reliable and capable grill that looks good and performs well for larger cookouts or family dinners, the Sophia & William 4-Burner Grill might be worth your consideration. It’s not perfect, but it offers solid value for money and has quickly become a staple in my outdoor cooking routine.

Good Grill with a Very Useful Side Burner
This grill looks really good in person. The stainless steel outside gives it a clean look, and it’s easy to wipe down after cooking, which I appreciate.Putting it together took me about an hour and a half since I did it alone. It’s not difficult, just takes some time. If you have someone helping you hold pieces, it would definitely go faster.Once it’s set up, it works the way you’d expect. It heats up pretty quickly and there’s plenty of room to cook. The side burner is actually one of best parts — it fits my wok, so I can stir-fry veggies or make something quick while waiting for the meat to finish on the grill. That’s been really handy.Overall, it’s a solid grill that looks nice, does the job well, and makes cooking outside more convenient. I’m happy with it and would recommend it.

If you love grilled food and enjoy food with family outdoors
I totally love this grill. Very easy to assemble and to use . It has 4 burners and 1 side burner , 4 burners for the grill and the side one is for cooking in the pot. The iron grill so good and there is one small compartment over the grill for other veggies to cook at the same time. The food tastes great. You have knobs to control the flames and set you desired temperature.Coming to the looks, it is stainless steel with black combination ( classic look). I hope who ever like grilled food they have to buy this grill, very budget friendly, easy to install and it has wheels to move here and there and lock the wheel at one point. Just get the propane gas and fix it you are all set to grill and cook out side enjoying the climate and food with your family

A Cheap BBQ That Seems To Work Farily but RUSTS BADLY
I bought this BBQ Grill as it seemed to be about the best of the cheapo one. It is often hard to tell from the Amazon description how a product might perform. I use a simple set of criteria. If it has more that 10% 1 star reviews or if it has less than 4 stars overall, I don’t buy that product. At time f writing, this one had 10% 1 stars and 4.5 overall. So it just met my criteria. It was delivered in good condition and within Amazon’s declared delivery time. Assembly was easy with god instructions that I found very eay to follow. SOme parts are not made of stainless steel and all the parts could have bee made of slightly thisler material in my opinion but then, it was $294 before tax — sp okay.I have only just set up my new BBQ and I won;t have a chance to cook anything on it for a day or so. When I have done that (and eaten what I cook), I shall update this review.2 WEEKS LATERI have now used the BBQ a couple of times. It heats up rapidly. I got to 650° within a few minutes which was fine for burning off earlier residues. AFter that, I had trouble keeping the temperature down to 375°. To do this I had to turn off two burners and reduce the remaining two to minumum. When I did htis it remained between 375 and 400°. Obviously I can open the lid and cool things down but I’d rather have better temperature control.18 MONTHS OR SO OnThe flame disperser supports have all but rusted through.Soon they will rust off completely, see pic. I have used this grill lightly maybe 20 times in 18 months. I am disgusted that such a product could be rendered USELESS in such a short time. Sure, I can fix it but I feel tha this should not have happened. The second problem is with the burner controls. These have very little control range. They are either full on or at minimum. So the grill is either running at 300 degrees or 600. Neither of which is much use for grilling chicken. Now, today I would not reccomend this grill to anyone except a scrap metal dealer.MARCH 2025The rust and degredation ov the winter has taken its toll on my grill. The three new photos show just how this grill has deteriorated. Rust is everywhere. Remeber I have only owned this for just about 2 years. I live in southern NC. I am about to try and repaint my grill. I expect to need to replace it within 2 more years. To say I am disapointed would be an understatement. I vcannot reccomend this model.

Great Grill, Best Investment for home owners
Fabulous BBQ ,it’s more than I expected! The instruction manual was very clear and the installation was quick and easy with two people working together. The construction feels sturdy and durable, the wheels on it make it easy to move around and two wheels lock makes it more stable when sitting. The size, height and dimensions are all very subtle for my yard.I’m confident this will be a part of my yard barbecue for years to come! The heat distributes evenly, which makes grilling a lot easier. It lights quickly and reaches cooking temperature fast, so I can get started without waiting!Cleaning is straightforward, the pull-out oil tray is easy to disassemble and clean. It’s perfect for weekend barbecue or a quick dinner. It’s a huge boon for those who like meat! Definitely happy with this purchase.

Simple and Reliable Grill
We have been using this grill for a bit now and it has been really nice. It heats up fast and cooks evenly. There is plenty of space so we are not moving food around all the time. The side burner is actually very handy for sauces and small sides. It is easy to clean feels sturdy and looks great on our patio. We have been grilling more often since getting it.
