Description
24″ Electric Wall Oven, ETL Certified, ThermoMate 2.8 Cu.ft. Electric Wall Oven with 5 Cooking Functions, Built-in Ovens with Anti-Mistouch Knob, Stainless Steel
In-Depth Review
I recently made the decision to purchase the ThermoMate 24″ Electric Wall Oven for my kitchen renovation. As a guy in my mid-30s who enjoys cooking but isn’t a master chef, my expectations weren’t over-the-top, but I was hoping for a reliable oven that could handle a variety of dishes without taking up too much space.
When the oven first arrived, I’ll admit I was a bit struck by its sleek stainless steel finish. It looked professional and definitely added a modern touch to my kitchen. Setting it up was straightforward, and I appreciated the anti-mistouch knob feature. It’s a small detail, but with kids around, I found it to be a smart safety measure.
Moving on to the build quality, I felt it was solid for the price. It’s not the heftiest oven out there, weighing about 70 pounds, but it felt sturdy enough to trust during daily use. The dimensions are great for a wall oven, fitting well into my existing space without crowding the kitchen.
In terms of performance, this oven didn’t disappoint. The five cooking functions—bake, broil, and so forth—offer flexibility that I found very useful. I tried baking everything from cookies to casseroles, and the food cooked evenly every time. The heat-up time was decent too; it doesn’t take ages to reach the desired temperature, which I truly appreciate when I’m trying to get dinner on the table after a long day.
As for daily use, clean-up was relatively easy as well. While it doesn’t have a self-cleaning feature, the stainless steel surface made it simple to wipe down after cooking. One thing to note though: if you’re planning to use this oven frequently, you might want to keep a good oven cleaner handy, as it can show fingerprints easily.
So, who would I recommend this oven to? Honestly, it’s perfect for small families or anyone who needs a reliable oven without breaking the bank. If you’re a serious home chef or someone who frequently bakes large batches, you might find the capacity a bit limiting since it’s 2.8 cubic feet. But for average cooking needs, it fits the bill.
Now, let’s get to the nitty-gritty: the pros and cons. On the plus side, I love the sleek design, solid build quality, and consistent performance. Plus, it’s easy to use, even for someone like me who isn’t a kitchen wizard. On the downside, the limited capacity is worth mentioning. If I’m cooking for a holiday or hosting a large gathering, I do find myself wishing it could hold a bit more. The lack of a self-cleaning feature may also deter some potential buyers, especially if you’re used to that convenience.
In conclusion, after using the ThermoMate 24″ Electric Wall Oven for a few weeks now, I feel good about this purchase. It adds a modern flair to my kitchen while providing the functionality that a home cook needs. If you’re looking for a compact, reliable wall oven for everyday cooking, this might just fit your needs perfectly.

Best Deal available!
The temp. runs a little lower than my previous oven. After I figured that out, I made adjustments. I like this oven and the fact that it is in the 500.00 to 600.00 range. That makes this a great deal! Most that I found were in the 1800.00 to 2000.00 range with only a couple that were in the 1000.00 range. Looking for a nice looking oven that works, look no further. Here it is!

Not bad for the price
This oven is nothing fancy, but it works. We’ve had to figure out temp differences between it and our old oven. Considering it cost less than 1/2 what the big box stores cost AND it was literally delivered to my door, we’re pretty happy. Cooks well. Easy to install and use. Heats relatively quick.

Nice Replacement for Antique
I really like the look of this product. It fit nearly perfectly in the existing 24” cabinet and the electrical connection was fairly easy, but you do need to hook in the pigtail supplied and wire it into your 220V line – it’s not a plug. It heated quickly to do the initial burn off of the surface oils. The controls are easy for me but not so much for my very elderly mom. They are a bit odd, particularly with the right timer/on knob that can turn the oven off when the timer dings. We won’t use that feature, just leave it in the on position and turn the oven on or off with the middle knob. She had a hard time turning the large knobs, but this shouldn’t be a problem for most. Her big complaint was that that there was only one baking rack supplied but two roasting pans she will never use. I’ve contacted the manufacturer about getting another rack. In the end she was able to turn the middle knob to “bake” and adjust the temp as needed. Great value for the money and nice clean modern looks.

Great Wall oven
Perfect wall oven for my space..This oven is so much better than my old GE wall oven..Installation was easy but note that two people will be needed to pick up oven and slide it into the wall opening I like the manual controls. No electronic controls to go out. Great price for such great oven.

Thermomate Customer Service
Ordered convection oven, received oven promptly, contractor installed it, upon opening door we realized there was no rotisserie, no fan( i.e. not a convection oven). Found out there are 2 types of this oven, 1 standard and 1 convection. Called Amazon representative and she was very helpful, she was able to contact the company, which was very difficult, to explain the mix up. We had a 3 way conversation with the company rep. who promised we would receive the correct (convection) oven in several days. I specifically asked, is this going to be days, weeks, or months, and he responded “no more than 3-4 days sir” We did not, do not have a functional oven at this time. It has been more than 2 weeks now, still no oven or correspondence from the company, and upon contacting Amazon, they recommended just sending the oven back for a refund. We will now have to disassemble our counter top and built in space we prepared for this wall oven, have the oven re packaged, and returned – major hassle, all because the customer service department for this company doesn’t care about the consumer, doesn’t care about making things right, just wants to play it off like all recent trends of American business these days, and let the consumer suffer. The irony is that if you look at the advertisement with Amazon, the company still hasen’t changed it to remove the description of “convection oven” from this model number. I think Amazon would be smart to drop them from their website, as they are not reputable and cannot produce the products they advertise.
