Corsair Dark CORE RGB PRO SE Wireless FPS/MOBA Gaming Mouse with Qi Charging – 18,000 DPI – 8 Programmable Buttons – Sub-1ms Wireless – iCUE Compatible – PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, Xbox – Black
In-Depth Review
When I decided to upgrade my gaming mouse, the Corsair Dark CORE RGB PRO SE caught my eye. I’ve been gaming for years and have tried quite a few mice; I was looking for something that combines functionality with nice aesthetics. After using it for a couple of weeks, I have some thoughts to share.
My initial experience unboxing this mouse was pretty exciting. It had a solid feel right from the start, and I loved the sleek black design. The RGB lighting, which Corsair is known for, looks fantastic, and you can customize it to match your setup. I plugged it in right away to check out its features and was impressed with the software interface.
Speaking of build quality, the Dark CORE feels durable. It’s mostly plastic, but Corsair has done a good job making it feel premium. The textured side grips provide a solid hold, and the buttons feel responsive without being overly stiff. The layout with eight programmable buttons caters to both FPS and MOBA gamers, which is a plus for versatility.
In terms of performance, this mouse really shines. The 18,000 DPI sensor is fantastic; it allows for smooth and precise movements. Whether I was sniping in a first-person shooter or managing my characters in a strategy game, the Dark CORE performed beautifully. The wireless feature is another standout; with its sub-1 ms response time, I never felt a lag. I especially appreciated the Qi charging capability, which means I don’t have to worry about batteries.
Now, who would I recommend this mouse for? If you’re a gamer who spends hours in front of the screen, whether you play competitive FPS games or more casual title, this mouse could make a big difference. It’s also great for anyone looking for a stylish setup that can also serve as a functional tool.
There are some pros and cons to consider. On the pro side, I really appreciate the customizability, both in terms of DPI settings and RGB lighting. The wireless feature is a game-changer for clean desk setups, and the battery life is impressive, lasting around 50 hours on a single charge. On the flip side, the price point might make it a tough sell for casual gamers who don’t need all the extra features. Additionally, while the mouse fits well in my hand, I could see it being on the larger side for those who prefer smaller mice.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with my purchase of the Corsair Dark CORE RGB PRO SE. It checks all the boxes for what I was looking for in a gaming mouse and lives up to its reputation. If you can overlook the price and need a reliable wireless gaming mouse that performs well and looks great, this could be the one for you.

The Best Wireless heavy gaming mouse for large hands.
First things first. I needed a large mouse for large hands and I finally stumbled upon this gem of a mouse that feels like it was made for me. (I was using a G502 previously and found it to be to small). So I decided to buy it and found out that it sold out literally everywhere at my place. So I had it shipped to my country through Amazon Global standard shipping(through Aramex) . Arrived a week early and was well packaged but the box had to opened for a customs check. No items were missing , so good. The mouse is really well built and is a bit on the heavier side but I like my mice heavy. The ergonomics are really perfect for large hands (hand size: 19.5x10cm) and the included pinky rest is a lifesaver for both gaming and work. The mouse feet are really smooth, in fact too smooth that I had to lower my sensitivity lol. All buttons can be customized with Corsair iCUE quick and easy and if you need macros that can be done within the software as well. Some features can be saved to the mouse on-board memory profiles (up to 3) so you do not need the software all the time. RGB is bright and beautiful. The outer body has a textured plastic that is miles better than rubber.Wireless : Corsair slipstream is truly an achievement and I found no difference in performance when using the mouse in both wired and wireless mode. iCUE is only required for the pairing the mouse and the dongle. After that you can turn the software off if needed. I’ve had some lag (that goes away after 5-10 secs) when trying to use the mouse after the computer starts up or awakens from sleep mode however this is a standard phenomena that occurs with all wireless mice. The mouse is a breeze to use without wires. (the included wire is too stiff and can push the mouse on a flat surface if it gets coiled)Battery and charging: Battery life is average. Mouse lasts for about 9-10hrs with all lights turned on and takes about 2-3 hrs to fully charge. Wireless charging is OK , it takes a bit of time but its really well implemented and mouse lights up white to let you know it it is charging wirelessly with any Qi certified charger. Note: There is no percentage indicator letting you know how much battery is left even in software unfortunately.Miscellaneous issues : I have heard of issues of accidental right click and mushy switches in some reviews. At least in my unit , I haven’t had such experiences….yet. (will update if any occurs).Cons: The Corsair iCUE software is a pain to use and it literally crashes my PC when trying to game. Button mapping although easy to do gets ages to save in the software and I finally decided just to save it to the onboard profile instead. Also one major problem I found – If you have a low end PC and you also have other corsair peripherals such a s a Corsair keyboard , the software forces you to save multiple (unnecessary) profiles to both software and onboard memory of BOTH keyboard and mouse to function properly. If it is not done it causes a lot of software glitches and unresponsiveness of keys on the keyboard and DPI buttons on the mouse. Also if you uninstall iCUE with keyboard and mouse connected , It will take away the RGB of both devices for some reason. There is also a bug that says ‘your profiles are not saved , go to device settings to save’ even if I saved the profile to mouse multiple times. The profiles will work but it is an annoyance to see that pop up again. I strongly recommend you disable the software after you have done all your mapping, wireless and macros if you are on a low end device.Verdict: Overall the best ergonomic mouse that I have laid my hands on. They don’t make mice like these anymore after most “pro’s” switched to ultralightweight mice. Good modular support and ease of use. Only held back by the horrible iCUE software. (P.S -pretty much all mouse software have some issues…although my review thrashes iCUE , I just want you to know that no software is perfect even if it is from Logitech or Razer , it is just a matter of getting used to it until they fix it ).I recommend this mouse.

Really love the texture!
I really love this mouse, battery life is pretty long, and extremely comfortable. Never had latency or bugging out, just perfect. Looks amazing and the texture is really nice on the palm part of the mouse. However, a little bit of disappointment, it doesnt really affect my review because i still really love the mouse and settings can be adjusted, but this is something that Corsair should look into if they read this review. The placement of buttons are really bad in my opinion. Profile change on top of mouse? And DPI change right next to the left click? I mean thats horrible placement. I mostly play FPS and time to time, i press on DPI change and it just ruined me, so i changed it using icue. If i were to recommend, dpi would be nice if its underneath the mouse… as well as profile change… I have more then 10 products by Corsair, and when i accidentally press on that key… my goodness… so i changed as well..Other then the problems above, this is an amazing wireless mouse. HIGHLY recommended. the quality is always there with corsair

Serious quality control issues, 2 out 3 three malfunctioned within weeks of buying
I own three of these mice. The first one, shortly after buying, started freezing up after about an hour of use. I can temporarily ‘fix’ it by switching the connection mode – e.g. if it’s frozen in bluetooth, switch it to 2.4GHz and it’ll work for a bit. When it eventually freezes in 2.4GHz, switch it back to bluetooth and it works again. But every time you switch, you get a shorter and shorter period of use until it freezes again, until eventually it freezes every few seconds. The only fix at that point is to just turn it off for a long time. The second one behaved well for a couple of weeks, then the scroll wheel started going bad. It jumps up and down instead of scrolling smoothly in one direction, and sometimes it just doesn’t move at all. It takes forever to scroll down a page. Seems like some kind of problem with the scroll encoder. Also, the black coating on the palm started peeling off this one even though it’s just been a light-use office mouse. The third one has worked well for ~2 months, crossing my fingersI keep buying new ones because I like the size and feel, and I like the Qi charging. It would be a great mouse if it just worked reliably.edit: August now, mouse #2 is freezing up every ~15 minutes and needs to be reset by the hardware switch on the bottom. Mouse #3 now also has the black coating peeling off, just like mouse #2edit 2: Early September: Mouse #2 is unusable. It’s now doing what the first mouse did – freezing and needing to be switched off and back on constantly. I’ve given up on that one and replaced it with a Lenovo wireless mouse.Mouse #2 and #3 both reset the DPI every time they connect to 2.4GHz, making me manually reset the DPI every time I want to use themMouse #3 is ALSO randomly deleting hardware profiles, making me plug the mouse into the computer and rebuild the profile from scratch to save it back to the device.Mouse #3 has started peeling the black coating off the palm, just like Mouse #2Stay far away from these mice. If these are Corsair’s premium products, I’ll probably just stay far away from Corsair in general.

Sensacional! além de ergonômico, tem o peso perfeito para precisão e iluminação sem igual… facil de trocar as aletas laterais e com detalhes de qualidade altíssima.. junto com o cabo de carregamento que também é de altíssima qualidade.

Great mouse but it is a little heavy and the buttons take more effort to click than the logitech G502. This is a wider mouse than the G502. The wireless charging works well. Using this as my general mouse and the G502 for gaming, which suits my style more.

Great product that meets all of my requirements! Only issue is the sensor had to be calibrated for whichever surface you are using(mousepad/tabletop). Kinda troublesome if you do not have a portable mousepad.
