In-Depth Review

When I first came across the SOLAKAKA SM600 Wireless Gaming Mouse, I was curious but a bit hesitant. I mean, there are tons of gaming mice out there, and it’s easy to get lost in the crowd. But I decided to give it a shot since my old mouse was on its last legs.

My initial impression was quite positive. The packaging was straightforward, and the mouse itself looked sleek and modern with the white finish and RGB accents. Even though I’m not a hardcore gamer, I appreciate a good-looking gadget, especially on my desk.

Digging deeper into the build quality and design, I found that it has a solid feel. The mouse isn’t too heavy nor too light, striking that perfect balance. The sides are rubberized, providing a good grip, which is critical during long gaming or work sessions. Additionally, the two side buttons are quite handy for switching between tasks or in-game commands; they’re placed well and responsive without being overly sensitive.

Performance-wise, I was pleasantly surprised. The tri-mode connectivity—Bluetooth 5.1, Type-C wired, and 2.4 GHz wireless—is a feature I didn’t know I needed until I had it. Switching between my laptop and desktop was seamless. The tracking was smooth, whether I was using it on a mouse pad or just on my desk. The RGB lighting adds a bit of flair, too, without being too distracting, which I like.

The battery life has also impressed me; I’ve been using it for several weeks without needing a recharge. That’s a big win for me as I tend to forget when my devices need power.

Now, who is the SM600 best for? It’s a great choice for casual gamers like myself who enjoy a little extra functionality without breaking the bank. Students or young professionals working from home will also find it fitting for day-to-day tasks, given its comfort and versatility. If you’re into more intense gaming setup with high DPI needs, though, you might want to look at higher-end options.

On the flip side, there are a couple of things I think could be improved. While the RGB effects are nice, seasoned gamers might want more customization beyond what’s available with the software. Plus, the scroll wheel could have a more tactile feel; it is functional but doesn’t provide the feedback I hoped for.

To sum it all up, this mouse has served me well so far. The SOLAKAKA SM600 is a practical choice for both work and play. While it might not have all the bells and whistles of some premium gaming mice, it covers the essentials well. The solid build quality, decent performance, and attractive price point make it hard to argue against.

Overall, I’d rate it quite favorably. If you’re in the market for a reliable wireless mouse that won’t empty your wallet, give the SM600 a shot; you might find it checks all the boxes you’re looking for.

    Great gaming mouse!
Great mouse! My son uses it for gaming and he says it works very well. Love the LED light feature, looks really neat during nighttime play. Was easy to setup, the size is great and it’s lightweight.

    Best mouse by far
Ive had 0 problems with this mouse and its so cool how you can adjust the sensativity depending on the colors on the mouse, no problems at all setting up and using for long term very light and quiet moves very smooth on my mousepad and theres no lag to it

  3. Chad Scheve

    Great mouse and high survivability.
Used this for 3-4 years. Only got rid of it when battery went bad. I use it at home and in a truck and had dropped it probably twice a day for at least 3 years and it worked fine until the battery quit. Awesome mouse worth the price and you can use it while charging.

    Its a mouse
Its a good mouse. My only gripe i have is that sometimes (usually in the middle of a game) the mouse will lag out and be un-responsive. I have to turn it off and back on again. Then itll be fine.Lightweight, cool looking for sure

so clicky and easy to use with good buttons for games and so easy to use with no noise.

  6. Fotis Photo One

    Amazing for gaming.

The sol KAKA SM600 worked great for 2-weeks.
Sometimes the signs are clear, yet I clearly ignored them this time. I ordered this mouse 5-times, thinking it was the NORMIA RITA Bluetooth mouse that I used 12-hrs a day, 5-days a week for three years before I wore it out. Four times my order was cancelled, yet I ignored the signs and tried the 5th time. The 5th order was the charm, although not a lucky charm–even then it was 2-weeks later than promised.I received the Solakaka SM600 on August 17, 2025. The minute I opened the box it was obvious I had ordered the wrong item–it looked a lot like the NORMIA RITA BT mouse, except the left and right buttons are shaped very differently, stillI thought I’d still give it a shot–I should have returned it.I worked great for the first two weeks. However, by the 3rd week, I started having to recharge it every 2 to 3-days, even though I turned off the lights. On September 18th, one day after I could no longer return the mouse, the battery life dropped to 48-hrs max. Then it started losing the Bluetooth connection. I downloaded the Sm600 app updated my settings, which worked for about a week. Now that I’ve had the mouse for 6-whole weeks, it won’t maintain the Bluetooth connection for a whole day. Frequently, I have to delete the connection and re-install the mouse every two hours. It’s not worth the hassle. I thought perhaps something else in my office was interferring with the BT connection, even though all my other BT devices work just fine, so I tried the USB connection, which was a big mistake because now it’s stuck on USB mode and will not go back to Bluetooth. To give credit where credit is do, I must say the mouse will work if I have the cord plugged into my computer,–BUT what’s the point of paying $26 for a Bluetooth mouse if the Bluetooth won’t work??? I could live with the USB wireless connection but that won’t work even though the light on the bottom of the mouse shows the USB connection is selected.I have SM600 app installed on my computer, so I decided to see whether there were any updates or if I could set the mouse back to bluetooth mode using the app. Sadly, even the software won’t maintain a connection for more than 5 to 10 seconds. I tried to use the app about 10 times, so I got fast enough to change some of the settings and hit save before the app shut down–not that it really mattered because the changes I made won’t save anyway.I made the mistake of purchasing two of these mice, again, because I thought I was ordering the NORMIA RITA mice and I wanted to have an extra for the office, which was a good plan, I just did not realize I would be using mouse #2 to replace mouse #1 after just 6-weeks.Solakaka, PLEASE me send a replacement and I will update my review to reflect your excellent customer service and what I hope to be the fact that I just got one random mouse that got dropped during shipping or whatever.I will update this review if Solakaka sends me a replacement, as they certianly should. However, for now, my advice is to avoid this mouse like the many plagues its fury ancestors caused. If you are reading this review after October 15, 2025, well, it’s safe to say Solakaka’s customer service is just plain Kaka–Sorry, I could not resist the bad pun, but serisouly the mouse they sent me is Kaka or just plain junk. Although, I will readily admit I enjoyed using it for the first 2-weeks.I will also make an update to let everyone know how, or if the second mouse works any better than this one did–My hopes are not high.

The feel of this mouse is really good for it’s price.
I will say that the feel of this mouse is nice and smooth, but what is the point of having RGB settings that reset the moment the mouse is moved. First off, the RGB settings are extremely limited and not really nice to look at while the scroll wheel and logo have a fixed color, the only lights you can change are at the base of the mouse. The settings give to solid color option and even if you find one it really doesn’t matter since once the sensor picks up movement, it resets to the default RGB strobe.I really like the feel of this mouse, but yeah the RGB is killing me, I will say the design and build of the mouse are really nice, love the idea of having the RGB and DPI separate since most mouse’s on amazon force the 2 function together which if you like low DPI settings but like a colored look that is on a high setting it forces you to mess with your settings. Then later becomes a problem if the mouse begins to have problems and you get another one, making it unable to be used without high DPI because your setting are set to pixel by pixel turtle movement.I will say that it’s nice and just turn off the lights, but if your like me that you wanted a working RGB mouse with a separate button for RGB than this would’ve been the mouse. Was about to say it was plugged in, but it also resets when unplugged so yeah, find something else if you want RGB. The feel is really nice and fits in my fat hand so honestly will use it without the lights.
